Students are given the opportunity to participate in hands-on digs.

Programs for Students

The museum hosts Fall and Spring programs in the Visitor Education Center. A variety of materials are available to teachers to enhance the visit to the museum. Our Education center welcomes students from near and far. Students get hands on experience using tools of the canal era. The museum site offers opportunities for archaeology digs too!
